José Antonio García Navarro

Who they were

José Antonio García Navarro was a priest, born at Andújar and ordained on 21 December 1901, who was rector of the shrine of the Virgen de la Cabeza at Andújar and was killed on the road to Arjonilla between 11 and 12 October 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
