Who they were
José Bru Boronat was a diocesan priest of the Tarragona region, born on 16 June 1883 at the town the decree names in Latin as Mons Regalis, near Tarragona, and was put to death at Reus on 27 July 1936. He was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis with Manuel Borrás Ferré, auxiliary bishop of Tarragona, and their companions.
