Who they were
José Capdevila Portet, born at Vic on 2 August 1890, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 15 August 1906 and was ordained a priest on 26 August 1914.
He was killed at Manlleu on 25 September 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
