Who they were

A religious of the Congregation of the Passion, born on 29 April 1915 at Peralta in the diocese of Pamplona and professed on 28 October 1933; he was shot with his community at Carabanchel Bajo on 23 July 1936. He was beatified on 1 October 1989 by John Paul II, among Nicéforo Díez Tejerina and twenty-five companions of the Congregation of the Passion.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology names him among the Passionist martyrs of Spain.
