José García Librán
Diocesan priest of Avila, martyr of the persecution in Spain
Who they were
José García Librán was born on 18 August 1909 in the village of Herreruela de Oropesa near Toledo, then in the diocese of Avila, was ordained priest in 1933 and served in several parishes; the decree calls him a man of deeply upright character who stood out above all in his care of the sick and the poor. He was killed on 14 August 1936 at Gavilanes, where he was parish priest, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The decree says he was killed without any public charge against him, simply for his faith and his ministry in the Church.
