Who they were
José Jiménez Reyes was born at Santa Fe on 20 September 1889 and ordained priest on 27 February 1915; imprisoned in July 1936, he was killed on 2 August of the same year, his last words being 'Long live Christ the King'. He was beatified on 26 February 2022 by Pope Francis among Cayetano Giménez Martín and fifteen companions.
