Argentine Mercedarian priest who founded the Mercedarian Tertiary Sisters of the Child Jesus
Who they were
Born in 1849 at Luyaba in the Sierras of Córdoba, he entered the Order of Mercy at Córdoba, founded the Mercedarian Tertiary Sisters of the Child Jesus, and died in 1930; his remains rest in the sisters' chapel at Alta Córdoba. The congregation's pages are read here through the Internet Archive because its site no longer responds.

The congregation he founded, the Hermanas Mercedarias del Niño Jesús of Córdoba, records that the diocesan process opened in Córdoba on 26 April 1957 and closed on 4 November 1972, and that he was declared Venerable on 26 March 1994.
