Who they were

The decree on martyrdom describes him as a priest of the Order of Preachers, born in 1896, who wrote for several periodicals and who died five days after being mortally wounded, and records that he was killed on 25 July 1936. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
