Who they were

José Manuel de Lemus Garzón was a priest, born at Andújar on 24 February 1867 and ordained on 28 June 1891, who was chaplain of the monastery of the Minim nuns at Andújar and was killed there between 10 and 11 October 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
