A priest of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, who was twenty-six years old when he was killed at Badalona near Barcelona on 6 January 1937.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, in the cause of Lucas de San José, Leonardo José, Apolonia Lizarraga del Santísimo Sacramento and their companions.
