The Roman Martyrology remembers him among the martyrs of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God killed at Paracuellos del Jarama near Madrid in Spain; the Acts of the Apostolic See describe him as a priest and postulant, born on 18 August 1886 at Córdoba and belonging to the diocese of Toledo, shot on 28 November 1936. He was beatified by John Paul II on 25 October 1992.
