Who they were
José Puig Bret, born at Cistella, near Girona, on 28 April 1860, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 6 January 1880 and was ordained a priest on 24 September 1883.
He was killed at Terrassa on 5 September 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
