José Ramón Flores Beltrán was born on 18 February 1876 at Mojácar, and was ordained priest in 1899.
He was killed on 9 September 1936 at La Ballabona, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
