Who they were
José Román García González was born on 9 August 1881 in the village of Carboneras, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest in 1904.
He was killed at Pozo de Cantavieja on 13 September 1936, and was beatified on 25 March 2017 by Pope Francis, among the companions of José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre.
