Who they were
José Solé Maimó, born at La Guardia Lada, near Lérida, on 21 August 1890, made his religious profession as a lay brother in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) in 1917.
He was killed at Terrassa on 5 September 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
