Who they were
José Vidal Basells, born at Santa Coloma de Queralt, near Tarragona, on 5 December 1908, made his religious profession in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 15 August 1935.
He was killed at Navés, near Lérida, on 22 August 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
