Who they were
Parish priest of Číhošť in Bohemia, arrested after the so-called Číhošť miracle of Advent 1949 and beaten to death in custody in Prague in February 1950; his case was used to stage show trials against the Church.

The Holy See granted the nihil obstat in 2015 and his cause as a martyr is promoted by the diocese of Hradec Králové.
