Who they were
José Manyanet was born and baptised at Tremp, Lleida, on 7 January 1833, and offered by his mother to Our Lady of Valldeflors at five. He had to work from boyhood to pay for his studies, and was ordained on 9 April 1859.
He founded the Sons of the Holy Family and the Missionary Daughters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, to help every family become like the Holy Family of Nazareth.
