Joseph Rey
French priest who founded the Brothers of St Joseph and the Little Sisters of St Joseph
Who they were
A parish priest of the Lyon archdiocese, he founded the Society of the Brothers of St Joseph at Oullins in 1835 and the Little Sisters of St Joseph in 1844, and ran an agricultural colony and school for delinquent and abandoned boys at the former abbey of Citeaux.
