Who they were
At Valenciennes in France, Blesseds Marie Clotilde Angela of Saint Francis Borgia (Clotilde Josèphe) Paillot and five companions, virgins and martyrs, who, consecrated to God and condemned to death out of hatred of the faith during the French Revolution, went piously up to the scaffold under the admiring gaze of the people.
Among those named is Blessed Josephine (Anne Josèphe) Leroux, of the Order of Poor Clares.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 23 October among the religious of Valenciennes guillotined out of hatred of the faith during the French Revolution.
