Who they were
Juan Capel Segura was born on 18 January 1875 in the village of Huércal, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest in 1909.
He was killed at Pozo de Cantavieja on 13 September 1936, and was beatified on 25 March 2017 by Pope Francis, among the companions of José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre.
