Who they were
Juan Codinach Espinalt, born at Mura, near Barcelona, on 28 May 1872, was ordained a priest on 12 June 1897, then entered the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) and made his religious profession on 19 March 1903.
He was killed at Malla, near Barcelona, on 12 October 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
