Who they were
Juan de Dios Marín Masdemont was a priest, born at Aldeaquemada on 8 March 1880 and ordained on 31 March 1906, who was assistant parish priest of Vilches and was killed there on 26 October 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
