Juan Moreno Juárez was born on 15 December 1891 at Válor, and was ordained priest in 1916.
He was killed on 4 September 1936 in the cemetery of Berja, in the province of Almería, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
