Who they were
Juan Sánchez Molina was born on 20 November 1882 at Rioja, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest in 1909.
He was killed on 28 August 1936 aboard the battleship "Jaime I", and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
