Who they were
Brother Crisólogo (Juan Sanz y Palanca) was born in Pamplona on 11 August 1880 and made his perpetual vows as a Brother of the Christian Schools in 1910. He held many teaching and leadership posts, mostly in Madrid, and was well known as an educator of young people. He was killed on 30 July 1936.
Pope Benedict XVI declared him a martyr in 2011, and he was beatified at Tarragona on 13 October 2013 with his companions.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
One of sixteen De La Salle Brothers killed in Madrid in the religious persecution of 1936-1937, beatified as martyrs in 2013.
