Who they were
Juan Segura Rubira was born on 21 September 1881 at Purchena, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest in 1922.
He was killed on 26 August 1936 at Belinchón, in the province of Cuenca, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
