Juan Soler García was born on 1 December 1904 at Chirivel, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest in 1928.
He was killed on 23 August 1936 in his native place, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
