Who they were
Julián Villanueva Olza, born at Villanueva in Navarre on 11 September 1869, made his religious profession as a lay brother in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 11 April 1898.
He was killed at Su, near Lérida, on 1 September 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
