Who they were
Justo Fernández González was born at Huelde in the province and diocese of León on 2 November 1916 and made his first religious profession on 16 July 1935. Arrested on 15 October 1936 and taken to the prison of St Anthony in Madrid, he was killed at Paracuellos de Jarama on 28 November following, and was beatified with the Spanish martyrs of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate on 17 December 2011 by Benedict XVI.
