Who they were
In the Auschwitz extermination camp near Kraków in Poland, Blessed Kazimierz Sykulski, priest and martyr, who was shot during the war in front of the persecutors of the Church of God for having firmly kept his faith.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 1 December as a priest shot at Auschwitz for firmly keeping his faith.
