Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that he was born at Zaragoza on 18 May 1911 and entered the novitiate as a cooperator brother in May 1936 with a spirit of humility. He was killed at Calanda on 29 July 1936 and beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
The miracles
As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The decree says he entered the novitiate only weeks before his death, with a spirit of humility.
