Known as «la señorita Laura», she founded the Providencia Parroquial Virgen de Flores in 1950 and spent the second half of her life caring for needy girls and the elderly in Álora.

Bishop Jesús Catalá Ibáñez of Málaga presided over the opening of her beatification cause at the parish church of the Incarnation in Álora on 4 September 2024, the nihil obstat having come in 2019.
