Why that counted as sanctity
Born at Zumárraga in Guipúzcoa, she died in Pamplona in 2000; her cause was introduced together with that of her husband, the doctor Eduardo Ortiz de Landázuri. The nihil obstat came in 2013, the diocesan inquiry opened on 14 June 2013, and its validity was decreed on 26 October 2018.
