Who they were
Father Laurent, known only by this name, was a priest in Paris who taught children who were deaf and unable to speak.
He was among those killed in Paris in hatred of the faith in 1792, and Pius XI declared him Blessed on 17 October 1926 with Archbishop Jean-Marie du Lau and his companions.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
