Who they were
Leandro Bago Bueno was a priest, born at Villanueva del Arzobispo in 1864 and ordained on 19 December 1885, who was archpriest of Villacarrillo and was killed on 26 July 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
