Who they were

The Roman Martyrology names him on 10 September in a long list of blessed martyrs made up of priests and religious of the Order of Preachers, of the Order of Friars Minor and of the Society of Jesus, together with catechists, married couples, widows and their children.

He is named there simply as Leone di Satsuma, between the religious of the Society of Jesus and the lay martyrs of the same company.

The miracles

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
