Who they were
At Bordeaux in Aquitaine, in France, Saint Leontius, bishop, who was the pride of the people and of the city and shone as a builder of places of worship, restorer of the baptistery and silent benefactor of the poor.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 11 July as a bishop of Bordeaux who built churches, restored the baptistery and quietly helped the poor.
