Who they were
At Vienne in Gallia Lugdunensis, now in France, Saint Leonianus, abbot, who, brought as a prisoner from Pannonia into this region by enemies of the faith, was for more than forty years, first at Autun and then at Vienne, a holy guide of monks and nuns.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 13 November as an abbot, brought captive from Pannonia, who guided monks and nuns at Autun and Vienne for over forty years.
