Who they were
At Cordoba in Andalusia in Spain, the holy martyrs Leovigild and Christopher, monks, who during the persecution by the Moors freely professed faith in Christ before the judge and for this were beheaded, obtaining the palm of martyrdom.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
