Who they were
In the territory of Châlons in Neustria, also in France, Saint Lupentius, abbot of the basilica of Saint-Privat-de-Javols, who, after unjustly suffering many harassments from Innocent, count of the city, died by beheading.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 22 October as an abbot of Saint-Privat-de-Javols who was beheaded after unjust persecution by the count of the city.
