Who they were
An unschooled labourer who entered the Passionists in 1901 and lived as a lay brother, latterly at Nettuno. Santi e Beati dates his death 14 October 1954, a year later than the Hagiography Circle.

No miracle has been approved. The decree on heroic virtues has been promulgated; a miracle would come next.
Why that counted as sanctity
The nihil obstat came on 16 November 2004, the diocesan inquiry opened at Albano on 14 May 2005 and Pope Francis declared him Venerable on 21 December 2016.
