Who they were
Leveil joined the Jesuits in 1906 for the Madura mission and spent his life in Tamil Nadu, dying at Sarugani where he is buried.

Why that counted as sanctity
The parish priest of Sarugani petitioned the bishop on 1 November 2015, the Tamil Nadu bishops gave their nihil obstat on 29 March 2016, the Congregation for the Causes of Saints followed on 9 August 2016, and the inaugural session of the cause was held at Sarugani on 2 October 2016.
