Who they were
The decree on martyrdom describes her as a professed religious of the Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, born on 2 March 1908 at San Esteban del Valle in the diocese of Ávila, who made temporary vows on 18 December 1932 and perpetual vows in July 1936; in the world she was Lucía González García. She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
