Who they were
Near Munich in Bavaria in Germany, in the Dachau prison camp, Blessed Ludwik Roch Gietyngier, priest and martyr, who, during the wartime occupation of Poland, was subjected to torture because of the criminal activities carried out by the enemies of the faith and gave up his spirit to God.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 30 November as a Polish priest tortured to death at Dachau.
