Why that counted as sanctity
An Oblate of Mary Immaculate from Radzionków who served the parish of Karpiłówka in Volhynia and was murdered there in December 1943; his cause is one of martyrdom. The Polish Catholic weekly Gość Niedzielny calls him a Servant of God and reports that his beatification process is running in the diocese of Lutsk in Ukraine; the nihil obstat was given on 16 May 2005.
