Who they were
Father Luis de Valencina (Jerónimo Limón Márquez) was a Capuchin friar, listed among the Capuchin martyrs of the diocese of Málaga. He was born on 27 March 1885 and ordained priest in 1908.
He was killed on 3 August 1936, one of Andrés de Palazuelo and 31 Capuchin companions killed in the persecution. He was declared a martyr in 2013 and beatified at Tarragona on 13 October 2013.
