Luis Quintas Durán was born on 24 April 1918 at Almería. He was a layman and a nocturnal adorer.
He was killed on 4 August 1936 at Almería, in the prison called Adoratrices, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
