Who they were
The decree on martyrdom describes her as a professed religious of the Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, born on 7 March 1897 at Castellón de la Plana in the diocese of Tortosa, who made temporary vows on 4 October 1925 and perpetual vows on 13 January 1929; in the world she was Luisa Pérez Adriá. She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
