Lutgarda Yi Sun-i

Who they were

Lutgarda Yi Sun-i was one of the martyrs of Korea. The list of the Korean martyrs published by the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints records that she was killed at Jeonju on 31 January 1802, at the age of 20; she was beatified on 16 August 2014 by Pope Francis.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
